Make a platter 26cms x 26cms or 19cms X 39cms.

All glass will be supplied, including frit, stringers & rods.

Basics of glass construction will be covered, including OH&S, how to cut and clean glass.

You will use the glass provided to design and decorate your plate.

It will then be fused together and then slumped into a shape depending upon which mould you choose.

Fusing is when 2 or more layers of glass are heated (or fused) together.

 Slumping is when that fused piece is heated in a mould to change its shape ie to slump into a shape

The finished platter will be available for collection one week after the workshop
