In this workshop that focuses on a relatively unexplored form within kiln glass, you will learn to make lidded glass boxes using an assembled mould system. Basic principles of kilncasting in assembled moulds, volume calculation, coldworking and firepolishing will be covered. In the workshop each student will make two kilncast boxes, one with a lid. Due to the unique firing conditions there will be limits to project sizes and thicknesses.

Glass cutting experience necessary, all materials are included in workshop fee.
